"In some profound way, beyond all his reasons and his experience, he was no more than an egoist - he had what I had always detected, and loathed, in Conservative philosophy... the belief that the fortunate must at all costs be allowed to retain their good fortune"― John Fowles, Daniel Martin
SUITABILITY FOR THE JOB, SELFLESSNESS, RESPONSABILITY-A WORLDWIDE EFFORT
Medicine is the field of health and healing. It includes nurses, doctors, and various specialists. It covers diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, medical research, and many other aspects of health.
Thus, by definition, medicine aims to promote and maintain health and wellbeing.

Nowadays, many people desire to work in this tremendously important domain, and they have all the reasons to do so. Not only that we live in a world dominated by diseases, viruses, wars and other factors which can damage our health, but medicine has always been regarded as being an honorable domain to work in.
Habitually, people look up to doctors, as they are considered to be the only human beings close to a god, as they have the capacity of saving lives, but their importance goes far beyond that. Doctors also make a difference by helping patients minimize pain, recover from a disease faster or learn to live with a disabling injury. A patient's ability to enjoy life, even if they can't be cured, makes a huge difference to them and to their families. If they can go back to work after an illness, that benefits their employer, too. And, that's only part of what makes doctors important to society.

Medicine is a fundamental stakeholder in humankind's consistent process of developement, as it has such a great impact on all aspects on one's life. From preventive medicine, to stopping pandemics such as the recent COVID-19 Pandemic, to shaping health policy and nevertheless to educating people, as doctors have the standing and the knowledge to push back against fake medical news, medicine is the most important domain in which you can work, especially if you are devoured by the flamable desire of helping people.
However, from a personal point of view, I consider medicine as being a too demanding domain for me to build a career in. From the pressure which comes with it, as doctors have such outrageous decisions in their responsability, to the selflessness needed in order to be a successful doctor, and lastly, because of the difficulty of this job, I do not think that medicine is for me. I consider that there are numerous people that have the capacity to work in the medical domain, but I do not think that all of them can be doctors, because doctors do not only need to be academically trained, but also psychically.

As one doctor said in an interview, "You cannot know everything about everything. You have to know what you don't know. You have to decide who needs care and who doesn't. And you have to know where to go."
Hence, I consider medicine as being one of the most, if not the most important domain to work in, but in the same time, the most difficult and demanding one.

The act of falling in love can be one of the most alluring, bewildering, seductive and ultimately dangerous experiences that can happen to a person. Writers, poets, and philosophers have attempted to define what it means to fall in love and how it comes to manifest itself for centuries, without much overall success or agreement.
